The New Jersey Film Academy provides educational opportunities to meet the increasing need for professionals in the entertainment and related industries of New Jersey.
The New Jersey Film Academy (NJFA) is a collaboration of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Garden State Film Festival and New Jersey Council of County Colleges, created by industry veterans to meet education and workforce needs for high-demand careers in New Jersey film and creative industries. The NJFA program offers rigorous professional training and may lead to union-covered film and television production craft internships and placement in creative industries apprenticeships and jobs.
NJFA is a multi-disciplinary training program by professionals in the film, TV, and new media industries. In-classroom course work coupled with production veterans and on-set, hands-on training will be presented to students of all walks of life and ages. One-on-one job counseling to include resume preparation, job research, and job placement outreach will be provided.
